back home

So ive been back "home" in San Lorenzo for 5 days now and going to my other home tomorrow, my home in sd that is. right now i really dont know what to call home. when i was in italy, it was always nice coming back to Siena from a train or bus after a weekend in another city. it felt like my home. Siena is a little town that is surrounded by a wall bc it was built during the medieval time, but it was big enough that we were to lazy to walk 30 mins to go to the other apartments to see our friends. It just felt relaxing after having a crazy weekend, coming back home to a  nice, clean shower, own sheets, bed and sharing my weekend adventures with my apartment-mates. Now that the program is over, Siena is technically no longer my "home," but i know what i go back i can proudly say that i've lived and experienced Seinesse life. now that im back in San Lorenzo, i dont know how much longer im going to have this home bc my family is trying to sell it, then after my time in San Diego is finished, who know where next i will call "home." I guess thats is one of the reasons why i want to work hard, to find and make a place to call home or hopefully homes.

this is the front of my apt in Siena. Also my finger is pointing to my room window. it was always a great view watching the parades during the Palio.

this is the view of the side of the apt. we were located in a busy street where you would hear tons of vespas and bus. Image having a bus make a sharp right turn on the street on the left. it was so narrow but crazy bus drivers would usually make it like 1 ft away from the wall. We always almost get hit by cars on that part of the street because there it a blind spot. haha.. anyways i love how we are above a bar and close to everything. we seriously lucked out with our location.

I miss it already.
