in 35hrs.

on a usual weekend i would most likely be in bed till 2pm but this past weekend i went to new york and spent a good 35hrs of adventure. sometimes i feel like i waste too much of my time. i loveee to sleep all day and all night but sometimes i feel guilty bc i think about that time where i can be doing something else more productive. Being in college, my world revolves around school and test, spending most of that time actually socializing and sadly staring at my computer screen. i hate being trapped in this institution. i want to learn by actually being exposed to the material and experiencing it for myself. my trip to NY was the first time i actually had the chance to travel independently. it was a great experience. researching about how all the transportation worked and the significants of each general area of the city gave me an idea what to expect. then actually being there, and doing and seeing things that i read just makes the experience more worthwhile. i love that process of learning. anyways, having limited time there i was hard to appreciate the little things. at least now i have an idea of how the city works and when i go back there in the future i can go to the not so touristy areas. haha.

the trip was great, but it raised a concern about backpacking. cece and i brought a backpack, probably 20-25 lbs and i was having back sores, imagine going days in europe. i guess i needa start working out and practice carrying heavy luggage like what ej did. haha. i felt like this trip gave me an idea of what to expect when i travel alone in europe. ahh im so excited! =D
